Throwback to that time this daddy hiked up the 463 steps to the top of the Duomo in Florence, Italy with a 22 pound baby strapped to his torso. We had so many looks of awe and congratulatory comments from people going down the narrow staircase, as they knew that climbing those steps wasn’t exactly a walk in the park 😂, but we made it! Alive, and not really panting a whole lot, surprisingly.
So here’s a shout out to my main squeeze...thank you for always carrying our little girl up long, epic staircases, thanks for always carrying her in her stroller down the stairs at the dumb metro stations that don’t have elevators, thanks for carrying our heavy luggage and the diaper bags when I can’t do it myself...you’re the BEST! That’s why I keep you around...😉😆 Anyone else have these problems when traveling with toddlers?? #toddlertravel #famvacay2019 #florenceitaly

St. Augustine, the "oldest city in the US" was our destination of choice. We saw the Castillo de San Marcos, a lighthouse, and the St. Augustine Alligator Farm. The city was the perfect size to tackle in a day with toddlers.
Annika and I were able to spend some time in Southern Illinois last month visiting my wonderful in-laws. We had such a fun time visiting everyone, and Annika loved spending time with her grandparents, great grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. It was also pretty special to get to take her back to where her mommy and daddy first met. 💕
Cheesin’ for the cam on the beach 🦀 32 different kinds of sunscreens are necessary to keep this toddler Terrell from getting burnt!!

on a fishing trip around Hua Hin. I miss him every day but he's having so much fun and experiences that will build him into a better kid. I want him to grow into an adult who's not scared of the world and seeks out different foods and cultures.
😎He's such a cool kid! 😎
