Never fails ... my bro’ knows his place in this world and it’s fearless.
Fun Bassist but those socks are the best. @diegosumbrella

I’ve been a fan of @diegosumbrella
ever since I photographed them for a magazine when they lit up the old @slobrew
stage. It was great seeing them again.
truth be told - I don’t remember having this photo taken of Josh + I (I know what you’re thinking and no it wasn’t the drinks, I’m pretty sure anyway 😏) but I do remember feeling this happy the ENTIRE weekend after hosting our first wedding at the barn. Watching an intimate group of family + friends gather up and so personally celebrate two people and their next chapter has my heart zeroed in on desiring more of that. It’s so easy to lose sight of the heart of it all with big over the top celebrations, so easy to lose focus on why everyone was there is the first place. Bring on backyard weddings, late night dance parties with a portable speaker and fire pits because the night was too good to let end. because sometimes, I think, less really is more. ⚡️🌑 photo by the talented @thelittlealli

Today was a big day for Tequila lovers ...

How do you define “joy”?
These ladies didn’t define it, they exemplified it ...
This happened twice today. One proposal occurred at @bessy_the_foto_bus
and this one happened on stage during @nanapancha
’s set. Love was in the air ... or maybe in the Tequila?
I’m so grateful for what I do. There were 9 people invited to witness this beautiful occasion, Jeannie+Jim eloping at their home overlooking this gorgeous setting in the Edna Valley. I was the 10th person on their guest list. I’d like to believe that this honorable invitation was a result of the 5 minute conversation I had with this couple last month upon meeting them at a wedding…I’m sure, in part, it was. But the reality is that because I am a photographer, I get to enjoy once-in-a-lifetime moments like this nearly every single week. I can’t get enough of it. No matter how exhausted I am, no matter what my mood, I walk into moments like this and I am inflated by all the love…and 10 people, believe it or not, can bring a lot of love. #canyoufeelthelovetonight
? Congrats newlyweds :)
We love Indy movies!
Well both kinda of “Indy” movies... but did you know Indiana Jones made a stop in Morro Bay? Four movies (and a 5th planned on coming in 2021) see this globe trotting adventure get into all kinds of situations.
In 2008, we saw him return in Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. Of course we noticed a shot in the famous Indiana Jones “traveling map montage.” As Indy and Mutt are traveling from New York to Peru, they layover in Cuba... but it looks suspiciously like Morro Bay, California. In the trailer for the film, you can see the same shop without the map superimposed on the image and can clearly see the iconic Morro Rock and three smokes stacks in the city.
What are some of you favorite Central Coast cameos in movies? What are you watching this Memorial Day Weekend?
