This video shows my final set, a single with 200kg in plates on. Before this I did 100x4/150kgx1. My best on this ever is 265kg. Back training at midnight and into the early hours up in one of my favourite gyms I’ve ever been to. Decent session despite not getting in as much food as usual during the day. Effectief Trainen – Mind Muscle Connection! Veel mensen denken dat krachttraining gewoon een kwestie is van ‘dom gewichten optillen en weer neerzetten’. Als je het op de juiste manier doet, is dat zéker niet het geval. Waarom niet? Dat vertel ik je hieronder! Wat is mind muscle connection? Je beseft het je vaak niet, maar je hersenen zijn degene die jouw lichaam aansturen tot beweging. Zonder een seintje van je hersenen, kun jij niet lopen, je arm optillen of een squat maken. Met signalen via je zenuwbanen, vertellen je hersenen je spieren dat ze moeten aanspannen of juist ontspannen. Vaak denken we hier niet over na, zoals bij lopen. Ook tijdens het doen van fitness, doe je vaak een beweging zonder er echt bij na te denken. Als je dit WEL bewust gaat doen, leg je een betere verbinding tussen jouw hersenen en je spieren (mind muscle connection!). Hierdoor kun je effectiever spiervezels aanspannen, gebruik je de spier op een efficiëntere manier en zul je betere resultaten boeken! Hoe kun je dit gebruiken? Tijdens krachttraining in de sportschool, kun je dit super goed gebruiken! Door het oefenen met mind muscle connection, zul je merken dat je uiteindelijk veel effectiever je spieren kunt aanspannen, eerder verzuring voelt en betere resultaten haalt uit je training. Voorbeeld: Doe een Bicep curl eerst met alleen de stang en focus je dan alleen maar op het aanspannen van je biceps en hou bovenin de spanning even vast. Tibialis Raises. ~ This is a go to exercise in any leg routine and a staple in any ankle or knee rehabilitation in my opinion. ~ Making sure you keep this movement controlled and stable, keeping the toes pointed at all time to get full flexion through the ankle. Modified Maximum effort Lower, SSB Box Squats working to 140KG x2 in two sets, then followed with Beltless Squats at 110KG 5x5. Finished the session with Sled drags and Reverse Hypers.
