My goals are impossible to achieve!!! 😤 .
Have you felt the weeks passing on by and still have not actually committed to your fitness program?
You're still living in baggy sweaters and sweatpants because it's the only thing that seems to be comfy and hide excessive weight.
I can tell your probably frustrated with yourself and don't know why you can't just get into action. 🤔 .
Here's the reality:
You're busy! Life can be demanding for everyone and your attention. I get you have a million things going on in the course of the day, working out is the last thing you want to do when you're tired after a hard day at work.
So how do we move forward to take action? .
Here are a few steps I want to share with you to help get you out of that funk you're in. .
Get clear on your why - do you even know what your actual goal is? Why you want to lose weight or how you want to feel? Get really clear on this and dig deep down and ask yourself why fitness is so important, and what it actually means to me. .
Set yourself goals - be real here!! Set a small goal that is easy to achieve. This could be joining a join, losing your first 5lbs, being able to walk 30 mins 3x per week. Set it small enough that it is realistic to achieve but also something that is going to result in taking action. .
Progress photos - I strongly urge tracking your progress. This not only gives you a starting point but it also gives you something to look back on. It's important to be able to have these to look back on. Not only for small victory celebrations to feel like we are actually making progress but to aid in giving you motivation to keep pushing forward. .
Utilize your time - so many people say they don't have time. This is where you need to use your time wisely. Set a schedule for yourself and block out times everyday to make sure your workout is planned in advance. You wouldn't go over an important deadline at work would you? So, give yourself deadlines to complete your workouts and check them off on a daily basis to hold yourself accountable. .
Follow these 4 simple steps and it will help push you through those days you didn't want to start. 🙏🏼

Do you ever feel like if you had more motivation then you could have the body you desire? .
You don’t need more motivation to achieve your goals..... we are on motivation overload these days with the rise of social media over the past few years. Just scroll through Instagram and you’ll be sure to get a good dose of people who are in shape, transformations, quotes, and positive influence. .
Motivation is an emotion, and e-motions are in constant movement. Meaning the feeling will come and go. This is normal!!!!! I am not always motivated to stay on track with my health and fitness goals. .
What you need to do is instill daily habits, rituals, and routines needed to achieve and keep your goal.
Our lives are a reflection of our daily habits. Change your habits, change your life.
The feeling of wanting to do something ie: motivation, will never last. .
BUT the commitment to your goals will. .
I didn’t just end up where I am today out of luck. I had to work my ass off to get here and chase my dreams I wanted for myself. You can’t just wish for something and expect for it to happen. You have to follow through with intention! If you want something bad enough you WILL find a way regardless of financial strain, fears, doubts, and worry. All those little things we use as excuses to tell ourselves why we can’t do something. .
Don’t let those small things affect your goals. Find a way, and don’t take no for an answer!! I have had many doubts before in my days, felt scared and questioned if I’m doing the right thing. Guess what, if your dreams done scare you then you’re doing something right! So chase them!!!! .
Whatever your dream is don’t give up, it won’t always be easy, but it will be worth it! It all starts with you and making the commitment to change. .

Salads are one of those foods that people turn their nose up to when I mention. But my filling your plate with tantalising fruit and veg make a yummy side to any protein dish.

I don’t know about you, but time is one of the most important things to me. One thing I hate is when I spend time wasted, not that I don’t enjoy cooking or eating because I love to do both but, some days I have more important things that I need to prioritize and cooking isn’t ideal for me.

“I’ve always been a “bigger” kid, but I was still active and happy. I started getting bullied in kindergarten; since then, I’ve struggled with self-esteem and anxiety. Years passed, pounds piled on and so did my shame and depression. It felt like a cycle - shame and hurt led to binge eating sessions that only furthered my shame and hurt. My highest weight was 430 lbs. I wanted so badly to love my body, but I was miserable and in pain. Finally, I felt like there was hope to break out of that cycle. In January 2018, I began working towards approval for weight loss surgery. On December 5, 2018, after months of doctors appointments and testing, I finally had my sleeve gastrectomy and my life changed forever. How many times have you said this to yourself? What's the result?? well there isn't one.....Ask yourself why? .
There's tons of information out there that give you quick fixes and free workouts. Drink this tea and take this supplement and bam you will hit your goal weight in X number of days. 😒 .
So what happened? Why haven't you lost any weight? .
We often have this big ego that we can overcome problems on our own. Trust me I use to think the same way. I use to think if he/she can do it then I will eventually figure it out. .
Sure I've had some success in doing things solo but it got me way further behind and left me feeling burnt out and running in circles to find the golden ticket.
Sometimes in order to reach our goals we need to kick the ego aside. We need to realize ITS OK to ask for help!!! It's ok not to have all the answers and know everything. Shit, do you think any of the professional pro bodybuilders got to where they are today because they knew it all? How about some of the worlds greatest leaders and teachers. They all got to where they were today because they asked for help!! .
So let me remind you that asking for help doesn't make you weak. It doesn't make you a failure, it actually makes you successful!
