I made it to Bali! 🌴😝 ... In one piece...
... With all my luggage...
... On my own...
Lots of people asking why I'm here on my own as opposed to with my husband or a friend so thought I would share 💭
Travelling is something I have always felt pulled to do, but the opportunity or 'right time' has never presented itself, what with starting and running a business, getting married and having a social life somewhere in amongst all that. Not complaining! I truly love my life and wouldn't change it for the world but I've always had this niggle inside and this soul pull for Bali. Don't ask me why, it's an energy thing ✨ but I just knew I needed to come here.
Then the Universe presented me with the perfect opportunity (which I almost passed on) to come to Bali and deepen my connection with myself and other like minded women. I was anxious, apprehensive and creating a million reasons why I shouldn't go.
In the end, I literally thought, f*ck it, I'll go to Bali, on my own, for @thisisamyrushworth
Confidence and Wellness Retreat, with a bunch of women I've never met 😅
If you knew me a year ago (or even 6 months ago) you would be as shocked as I am about this trip 🙈
But since digging into my confidence and stepping into the woman I want to be, I am learning to lean into uncertainty and embrace challenge and change as a positive experience to help me grow. And although I'm stoked to be here in Bali, I'm also really fricking scared. But that's a good thing! And the exact reason I needed to do this on my own. I am so lucky to have such an incredibly supportive husband who encouraged me to say yes to this trip in the first place. So thank you Jake for being a bloody amazing human ❤️ but also thank you to me for paying for it and being ballsy enough to come one my own! 🙃
Ps. I took this photo at @theavocadofactory
at dinner. Seriously cool place and the vegan basic not basic quinoa burger was the tits ✌️Tired girlie after 36+ hours with no horizontal sleep so off for some zzz's 😘
