How Nick knows Shane Ladymoon
"I first met Shane when we were both on the bill many years ago at a charity event in Coledale. I was harmonising with myself on my new looper. Shane was bellydancing with herself in a sparkly, swoopy sort of outfit. Since that day, I've also seen her as a comedian, an impresario, a community magnet and a funky mother.
We’ve done some fun stuff together. On my radio show, she’s a sharp debater, even arguing “Women should wear the pants” with husband Stu. She won.
Then there was the time Shane and Stu invented "He said, she said" where two people tell their versions of the same story. My daughter Eva and I told our story in their backyard and at the Sydney Comedy Festival, where was also watched Shane and Stu do their very dark and twisted tale. It was wicked family fun."
