I hope everyone enjoyed my posts on summer league. First, huge shoutout to @setonhall_hoops
for their insight on Seton Hall. Their insight is “Should be a good year as nearly all of the team is team is returning, Mike Nzei graduated last year. Best of All, senior guard Myles Powell is back and is surrounded by talk of being the best player of the 19-20 season. Along with Powell, Quincy McKnight will look to lead the defensive unit as well as Romaro Gill who will be a prominent big man presence - he will be a tandem FSU transfer Ike Obiagu who was a key board defender in the teams 2016 season. Though McKnight will likely start out of the gate pay attention to young talent from sophomore Anthony Nelson. Safe to say that everyone will see there rolls grow in the classic SHU way, year by year, better and better. Myles Cale will also be a leader on this team with Powell - Shavar Reynolds’s will have a no doubt leader mentality as well this year. I think the Hall can take 1st in the Big East this year, some damage in the tourney as well. With almost all of the team back, another year adds more skill to the roster.” - @setonhall_hoops.
I think @setonhall_hoops
made some very great points. It will be great for Seton Hall to have only one person leaving (Michael Nzei). And also having 2 recruit, and one transfer. Tyrese Samuel (3⭐️ recruit), Dashawn Davis (3⭐️ recruit), and Takal Molson who is a transfer from Canisis Griffins. As far as rankings go I can see Seton Hall being number 1 or 2 in the Big East. If we recapture last year both Xavier and Seton Hall both won 1 out of 1 games. Xavier lost their first match 80-70 at Cintas (1-2-19), and Xavier won their second match 70-69 at Prudential Center (2-20-19). Where do you guys think this Seton Hall team can go with Myles Powell also returning?
