"The most important time in history is NOW, the present." - Talib Kweli
Yesterday marks 3 years since my mother passed...which is the same day as my brother's birthday (pictured). Life is...quite a cycle, for a lack of better words. In the years since my moms passing, I've become a multi-time Uncle while also seeing several relatives pass away.
My take on those ups & downs -- life is unpredictable and full of moments...but the perspective of those moments (even the most challenging ones) matter the most. Life is worth living fully and with a childlike eagerness each day.
But..it doesn't mean some days are "blah" tho...I woke up feeling "blah" thinking of her yesterday morning and a bit this morning...and, that's okay.
At the sametime, I am very grateful to have been able to laugh and reflect with awesome siblings (s/o to @jennyikner
) & fam while also celebrating my brothers bday.
I miss moms. I will always miss her...and, that's okay too.
